LAST CALL FOR COSTUMES THAT DO NOT FIT! Please let us know ASAP if your costumes do not fit! We still have a couple costumes that have been delayed. We are aware and watching the dates.

Costume Dos & Don’ts –

DO NOT wash your costume in any appliance or dry clean.  If for any reason you need to spot clean, do so by hand. Spot treat only if necessary and do not use any type of stain remover.

Try on your costume ASAP after receiving it in class.* If sizing is wrong beyond simple adjustments that you can make at home, contact the studio directors immediately at 970-230-3226 phone or text/ email info@thedancedepartment.net

After trying on your costume and making any simple adjustments with director’s approval, do not wear it for play or in home fashions until AFTER Dress Rehearsal and Recital – after that it is yours to do as you wish.

Store your costume in a safe place out of reach of little hands and paws. Tutus should be hung upside down. Headpieces may be kept in a small zip lock bag and attached. We CANNOT replace your costume OR headpieces.

We recommend storing your costume in your bathroom for a week before recital – not in a place where it will get wet but, the steam will help get rid of any wrinkles. You may steam your costume but DO NOT IRON

Stay tuned for info on Recital Pictures and more.

Studio Reminders:

April Tuition and Final Recital Payments Due!

Inclement Weather Policy:  With rain, wind, and potentially snow in the forecast (it’s Colorado WHO KNOWS), please remember that safety is our priority. We aim to announce any class cancellations by 2:00 PM via email and social media. Please note that we do not provide credits for weather-related closures, we will instead suggest a make class.

Illness Policy: To keep everyone healthy, please ensure dancers are symptom-free (including no fever, coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea) for at least 48 hours before returning to the studio. We continue to disinfect the studio and props nightly. Please note that we do not provide credits for classes missed to illness, or other outside events. Directors will make exclusions on a case by case decision.

Thank you to our TDD family for giving us inspiration, and allowing us to share our love of dance with your dancers each week. Thank you for helping make our 5th year possible! We are continually grateful to have you dancing with us at The Dance Department

With Gratitude for our Dancers & Families,

<3 Ms. Nicole & Ms. Miranda
