Repertory
TDD Repertory company
What is Repertory?
The Dance Department’s Repertory is our dance company for recreational dancers who are eager to perform and want to be more involved in the studio. Dancers of all levels and abilities ages 9+ are welcome to join by requesting a meeting with a Director!
New this season, we are introducing our invitation only Mini Repertory. We are so excited to continue offering these performance opportunities to our dancers and to volunteer around Northern Colorado.
The TDD Repertory is NOT a competitive team. Rather, it is an avenue for the dedicated dancer to grow in their technical skills, to brush up on performance quality, and to give back to the community.
Members may be split based on age or style preference. Some may be invited to participate in solos, duos or small groups based on skillset, leadership, and behavior in and out of the classroom. Members will be held to a higher standard and are expected to look after, welcome, and support all dancers of The Dance Department on and off the team.
Commitments
Repertory members are required to be in at least one weekly technique class. Members will perform 1-2 times per season (Fall and Spring). Dancers will learn multiple dances in a variety of different styles and may perform around the community at local events. Including charities, children’s hospitals, nursing homes, as well as in the Winter showcases and Recital.
End of the season performances (Winter Showcase and Recital) are NOT OPTIONAL!
