Dance, Love, and Kindness

Happy Friday TDD Dance Fam!
We hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and nice weather. We have a lot going on right now! PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR RECITAL FORM ASAP – this can be found lower in the newsletter or in your inboxl! Bring your valentine’s next week to give to local nursing homes and memory centers! Did you pay your tuition? Please be sure to reach out with any questions or concerns!

Studio Etiquette: Recently, there have been several incidents involving dancers entering the office and the area behind the front desk. We have also noted instances of individuals going through drawers, taking items, and drawing on studio property.
Please remind all dancers that these areas are off-limits and that they must respect the studio space. While certain dancers, primarily TAs, have permission to sit behind the desk during breaks, the office remains restricted to directors only.
Please ensure your dancers understand these boundaries so we can maintain a professional, safe, and respectful environment for everyone.

Tuition: February tuition is now due. If you are enrolled in autopay, your payment was processed on Monday. Please reach out to a director if you have any questions or concerns; we want to do our best to ensure dance remains accessible to everyone.

No Classes February 16th: There will be no classes held on Monday, February 16th. Please note that you were not charged for this date.

Spring Recital Information:
Our Annual Spring Recital will be held on May 17th at Windsor High School, with the dress rehearsal taking place on May 15th at the same location.
Please review and complete Recital 2026 Form ASAP to access all recital details. Recital payments will be posted and processed on February 17th. If you do not intend to participate, you must email us immediately. If you are having trouble accessing the form please let us know ASAP.

K-Pop Dance Camp:
Calling K-Pop Demon Hunters Fans – we have a dance camp at the Windsor Rec on Feb. 19th 10-11:30am Ages 3-7! Text or email for more info!

Valentine’s Community Project:
Help TDD spread love and kindness! We are collecting handmade valentines for local nursing homes and care centers. We encourage our dancers and families to use their creativity to cheer up individuals who may not have family nearby. You can use any materials you have at hand—nothing fancy is required. Please focus on positive messages and avoid any mention of illness or “getting well.” All valentines must be turned in by February 12th.
Inclement Weather Policy:
With snow in the forecast (maybe LOL) please remember that we prioritize the safety of our dancers, staff, and families. We aim to make a final decision regarding class cancellations by 2:00 PM, which will be announced via email and social media. While we do not credit accounts for inclement weather closures, we will do our best to recommend an appropriate makeup class for your dancer.

Illness:
As we are still very much in cold and flu season, we ask that anyone with a dancer experiencing fever, vomiting/diarrhea, stay home until they have been symptom free for 48 hours. We want to keep the other dancers and staff safe and healthy. We use disinfectant nightly in the studio, and on props to help aid in our part of prevention. Please help keep TDD healthy!

Thank you for your continued support of this dance family you have helped create. We value all our families and dancers. Thank you for making TDD a part of your week.
