9 Days Until Recital!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, aunts, grandmas, mentors, teachers, and all those who constantly give love and care for their families and kids, we see you and you inspire us!

We are only 9 days away from our 4th Annual Recital! As our recital approaches we want to thank you for your support, and trust in The Dance Department. We cannot wait to see everyone on stage. 

As a reminder May tuition, recital fees, and recital photo fees (if ordered) have been posted.  Please be sure to pay all remaining balances prior to the 12th to avoid late fees. If you have unpaid balances YOUR DANCER CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PERFORMANCE!

Classes for Next Year:

This year, we will be emailing your dancer’s class recommendations and schedules for next year AFTER Recital. Expect an email around or before May 31st.

Recital:

The MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal is at Severance High School on Friday May 16th – please reach out ASAP with any questions or conflicts!!

ALL TICKETS ARE FINAL SALE. We will email out PDFs of your included recital tickets with your package on Monday the 12th. Tickets are $18 presale and $20 at the door.

You will be provided with a digital copy of the show. We have a professional, TRUSTED, videographer flying out to film both shows who has done years of dance recitals in the past. 🙂

Recital Day:

May 18th Severance High School

Dancers should arrive in their costumes with hair and make-up done (bring all costumes BACKSTAGE if you are in multiple dances).

Snacks: Your dancer can bring A MESS FREE snack – think pretzels (nothing like Cheetos – Chester can stay at home) and water (please no colored beverages).

Handheld video games, tablets, phones are strongly discouraged. The Dance Department is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. 

No parents are allowed backstage unless a director has given permission. If dancers are struggling, a staff member will come find their parents. 

ALL DANCERS ARE HELD BACKSTAGE FOR THEIR SAFETY UNTIL AFTER THEIR FINAL BOW AT THE VERY END OF THEIR SHOW!

Dancers in Show 1 – will need check in at 10:30am

Dancers in Show 2 – will need check in at 1:00pm

Illness – as we are still in the midst of the cold and flu season, we ask that anyone with a dancer experiencing fever, vomiting/diarrhea, stay home until they have been symptom free for 48 hours. We want to keep the other dancers and staff safe and healthy.  We use disinfectant nightly in the studio, as well as on props to help aid in our part of prevention. Please help keep TDD healthy!
